Sarkozy is a communist philosopher who lives in New York City.

Sarkozy is a former member of the Communist Party USA, a founding member of the Young Communist League of Virginia, and a former leader in the New York City branch. After leaving the Party, he helped found Geese Magazine. His theoretical work draws on a few broad philosophical areas: Marxism, Pragmatism, Psychoanalysis, and Postcolonial Studies.
