Sarkozy, a founding editor of Geese Magazine, lives in New York City.

Sarkozy is a former member of the Communist Party USA, a founding member of the Young Communist League of Virginia, and a former leader in the New York City branch. After leaving the Party, he helped found Geese Magazine with a few other editors who had been expelled from the CPUSA. Currently, he edits, writes, and helps manage the magazine. His theoretical and political writings draw on a few broad philosophical areas: Marxism, Pragmatism, Postcolonial studies, and various Poststructuralist tendencies.
