Sarkozy is a communist writer and philosopher who lives in New York City. He is an editor for Geese Magazine.

Sarkozy is a former member of the Communist Party USA, a founding member of the Young Communist League of Virginia, and a former leader in the New York City branch. After leaving the Party, he helped found Geese Magazine, along with a few other editors who were expelled from the CPUSA. Currently, he edits, writes and helps manage the magazine. His theoretical and political writings draw on a few broad philosophical areas: Marxism, Pragmatism, Postcolonial studies and various Poststructuralist tendencies.
