Nik is a socialist based in New York City. As a member of NYC DSA and a core organizer on the Membership Committee, he focuses on onboarding new members and developing strategies to retain and deepen their political engagement.

Nik is guided by a commitment to building a mass political party capable of expressing a genuine collective will—one that can challenge entrenched power and articulate an alternative vision for society. His writing explores the dynamics of hegemony, the interplay between political economy and ideology, and the organizational dilemmas inherent in constructing a durable, socialist political party. In particular, he examines how socialist organizations can move beyond symbolic resistance to become vehicles for transformative political agency—questions that inform both his theoretical work and your day-to-day organizing in DSA.
